Torey Krug Puts Bruins On Board Vs. Jets With Second-Period Goal (Video)

The Boston Bruins desperately needed some offense Friday night after the Winnipeg Jets outshot them 16-4 in the first period.

Enter Torey Krug. The young defenseman put the B’s on the board in the second period, tying the score and giving his team a boost.

Chris Kelly took a shot, but instead of elevating the puck, he tried to slide it under Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson. The shot came back to a wide-open Krug, who simply lifted it to the top of the crease for the score.
