Liam Fitzgerald fist-bumped the Boston Bruins as they walked through the tunnel after a pregame skate in November, and thanks to a viral video, he captured the hearts of sports fans all over.

USA Today nominated the adorable 8-year-old for the best fan of 2014. Liam has Down syndrome and was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 4 years old but is now cancer free and is one of the most spirited Bruins fans out there.

The other nominees include Drake, Miami Marlins fan and World Series regular Laurence Leavy, Seattle Seahawks fan Tim Froemke the Seahulk, and world’s biggest Kansas City Royals fan SungWoo Lee.
