Andrew Luck Must Play Like Tom Brady For Colts To Have Chance To Win

Andrew Luck is one of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks, but is he on the level of someone like Tom Brady? Not yet.

However, Luck can go a long way in joining the league’s upper echelon of signal-callers Sunday if he and the Indianapolis Colts can topple Brady and the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. Coincidentally, it’s going to take a Brady-esque performance from Luck to get Indy to Arizona.

Former NFL linebacker Matt Chatham wrote on FootballByFootball.com that’s the only way he sees the Colts pulling off the upset.

“If Andrew Luck and the Colts’ offense are going to outplay the Patriots defense in Foxboro…it won’t be because that D beat themselves for you,” Chatham wrote. “Andrew Luck is going to have to play a clean game. The kind of game that Tom Brady has built a Hall of Fame career on.”
