Billy Joel is coming back to Boston.
The world-famous performer entertained fans in Boston in 2014, and he’ll make his return in 2015. Joel will play a show at Fenway Park on July 16, the Boston Red Sox announced Thursday.
Tickets for the show go on sale to the public on Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. ET.
“How awesome is it that as we dig out of a New England blizzard, we can turn our thoughts to ‘The Piano Man’ playing again on a summer night at Fenway Park?” Red Sox COO and vice president Sam Kennedy said in a statement. “Thank you, Billy Joel — the first artist to play Fenway Park two consecutive years!”
Joel will become the first artist to play Fenway Park twice.
