Brandon Spikes apparently isn’t harboring any ill will toward his former boss despite a rocky break-up with the New England Patriots.

Spikes, who made some controversial comments about his former team after signing with the Buffalo Bills last offseason, showed support for Patriots owner Robert Kraft before New England’s AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium.

The Pats selected Spikes in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft. He spent four seasons with New England before being placed on injured reserve after showing up late to a team meeting. The Bills signed the linebacker in free agency last March.

Spikes also recently made good on a Twitter bet with a Patriots fan, suggesting his less-than-amicable departure from New England might have been a tad overblown.
