We don’t expect the folks across the pond to know much about American basketball, but we figured they knew how to use Google.

British tabloid The Sun failed so hard on a story about the NBA on Wednesday that they almost won. In attempting to write about Prince Harry meeting Dikembe Mutombo, The Sun misidentified the 7-foot-2 former basketball player as “New York Nicks star” Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony was at the same event as Mutombo — an awards reception for a coaching program sponsored by the NBA and the Royal Foundation — ahead of the Knicks’ Thursday matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks in London.
