Bruins’ Perfect Passing Leads To Reilly Smith’s Goal Vs. Islanders (Video)

The Boston Bruins got on the scoreboard first against the New York Islanders on Thursday thanks to some good old-fashioned teamwork.

During the first period, the Bruins took the puck the length of the ice by executing five tape-to-tape passes. Defenseman Kevan Miller got things going with a pass to Torey Krug. Krug then sent the puck to David Krejci, who shipped it to Milan Lucic.

Reilly Smith drove to the net while the Isles were trying to keep track of the puck and was in perfect positioning to receive Lucic’s pass for the goal.
