Boston Bruins rookie David Pastrnak scored his first career NHL goal Saturday against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 18-year-old right winger capitalized on a rebound in front of the net to beat Flyers goaltender Ray Emery for Boston’s seventh power-play goal in the last 10 games.

Pastrnak had one assist with 18 shots on goal in six career NHL games entering Saturday’s matchup. He also leads the Providence Bruins (AHL) with 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists) in 24 games.

The Czech forward was selected with Boston’s first-round pick (25th overall) in the 2014 NHL draft. He made his Bruins debut on Nov. 25 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
