Celtics Continue Tough West Coast Road Trip Vs. Trail Blazers, Nuggets

The Boston Celtics are back in action Thursday in the second of six consecutive road games. They dropped the first game of the stretch 102-93 to the Los Angeles Clippers but covered the 12-point spread at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Celtics’ road trip continues Thursday at Portland, and they then face Denver on Friday, Golden State on Sunday, Utah on Monday and Minnesota on Wednesday. This is Boston?s longest road trip of the season.

The other big matchup has the Phoenix Suns hosting the Trail Blazers. Phoenix is 24-17-2 ATS this season, including 11-8 at home. Portland is 22-19-1 ATS, including 10-9 on the road.

The closest line for Wednesday features the worst matchup of the night between New York and Philadelphia, with the 6-36 Knicks 1.5-point road underdogs against the 8-33 76ers at the sportsbooks. New York is 1-16 SU in its last 17 games, while Philadelphia is 3-16 SU in its last 19 home games. Philadelphia is 6-1 ATS in its last seven games against New York.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 11-point favorites against the Jazz for Wednesday at the sportsbooks. Cleveland is 6-2 SU and 3-5 ATS as a double-digit favorite, while Utah is 1-9 SU and 5-5 ATS as a double-digit underdog.

The Atlanta Hawks are 10.5-point favorites against the Indiana Pacers. The Hawks are 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS as double-digit favorites, while the Pacers are 1-5 SU and 4-2 ATS as double-digit underdogs.

The remainder of the week features several games with early playoff implications. The Chicago Bulls (27-16) host the San Antonio Spurs (26-16) on Thursday. Friday features the Dallas Mavericks (29-13) hosting the Bulls, and the Suns (25-18) hosting the Rockets (29-13).
