The Boston Bruins struggled yet again to play a full, solid 60 minutes Wednesday night, but the effort was there in spurts.

The Toronto Maple Leafs dominated most of the first two periods and built a two-goal lead, but the B’s fought hard to tie the game in an eventual 4-3 shootout loss. Head coach Claude Julien even admitted he wasn’t sure his team was deserving of the two points had they pulled out the W, but he was certainly proud of the way his team battled back.

“There’s no doubt the resiliency of this club tonight was there and to be able to come back from a two-goal deficit and at least get yourself a point is good,” Julien told NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley after the game.
