The Boston College Eagles will gun for their first straight-up win and their fourth against-the-spread victory of the men’s basketball season against in-conference opponents when they visit the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles enter the weekend with an overall record of 8-9 but dropped to 0-5 SU against Atlantic Coast Conference rivals following their 69-61 loss to Syracuse on Tuesday night. While BC sits tied with the Yellow Jackets in the basement of the ACC standings, the club has rewarded bettors since the start of the in-conference schedule, going 3-1 ATS in its last four, including an ATS win as an 8.5-point underdog against the Orange at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Georgia Tech also has failed to post a SU win against ACC opponents, going 0-5 to date this season. However, the Jackets also have remained a strong bet, having gone 4-1 ATS in-conference heading into their Thursday night matchup against No. 2 Virginia while being pegged as underdogs in each of the five matchups.

Georgia Tech also rides a three-game SU win streak against BC into Sunday?s Eagles versus Yellow Jackets matchup at Hank McCamish Pavilion and is 4-0 SU in its last four home dates against the Eagles, but is just 1-2-1 ATS on the college basketball odds during that stretch.

Virginia maintained its position in the Associated Press Top 25 rankings with its 66-51 win over BC in its last outing, improving to 17-0 overall on the season and 3-0 ATS in their last three outings. The Cavaliers? early success also has captured the attention of oddsmakers, who peg them as a 15/2 bet on the odds to win the 2015 NCAA tournament, trailing only the Kentucky Wildcats.

The Cavaliers travel to Virginia Tech on Sunday to take on the struggling Hokies, who join the Eagles and Jackets as the only teams who have failed to produce a SU win against ACC opponents this season.

The Wildcats will look for their 19th consecutive SU victory when they meet the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday. Kentucky travels to Columbia following a 65-57 win over Vanderbilt on Tuesday, improving them to 5-0 atop the Southeastern Conference standings. However, the Wildcats are just 2-3 ATS in their last five, with each of their ATS losses coming as heavy double-digit favorites.
