Earl Thomas’ shoulder appears to be healing quite well. As for his feelings? Well, that’s a different story.

The Seattle Seahawks safety was a full participant in his team’s practice Wednesday, a week and a half after dislocating his shoulder in the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers. He appears ready to go for Super Bowl XLIX against the New England Patriots.

Yet an incident this morning didn’t exactly leave Thomas in high spirits.

The NFL’s policy of testing for human growth hormone is relatively new as of this season, but that’s not what upset Thomas, who believes the league specifically targeted him for testing as a result of his quick recovery.

According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, Thomas isn’t the only Seahawk rankled by the “random” tests.

“We are being treated like criminals, tested like people on parole,” an unidentified Seattle player told Werder.

Thomas had no further comment when asked about his tweet Thursday, but admitted that his shoulder is feeling remarkably better.

“I’ve come so far,” Thomas said, via ESPN. “I feel so much better. Each day, it’s surprised me because this is my first time with the injury and you don’t know what to expect. It has been just positive results from the trainers. They’re doing a great job with me.”
