Super Bowl week has not been a restful experience for the New England Patriots.

For the second time in three days, a false fire alarm soundedĀ at the Pats’ team hotelĀ in the wee hours of the morning, according to NFL Media’s Kimberly Jones.

The first disturbance happened Tuesday, as the team was woken up in the middle of the night, presumably by some hilarious pranksters. Well, the majority of the team was woken up, that is. Tight end Rob Gronkowski said at Tuesday’s Media Day that he slept like a baby through the first alarm.

“I slept great,” he said. “I’m glad I didn’t hear it.”

Between the ongoing DeflateGate controversy, Tom Brady battling a cold and their not-so-peaceful sleeping arrangements, the Pats have a number of non-football distractions adding up in the days leading up to their Super Bowl matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
