Florida State accomplished a lot over the last couple of seasons, so one would think the Seminoles might return to a warm homecoming despite losing the Rose Bowl.

The Noles returned to Florida on Friday night after their hopes for a national championship repeat were slashed by the Oregon Ducks, who rolled to a 59-20 win.

According to Seminoles linebacker Anthony Valdes, those title hopes weren’t the only things that were slashed.

Valdes did mention, however, that some FSU fans were still supportive — despite the embarrassing loss.
