Giannis Antetokounmpo Heads 2015 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest Field (Videos)

A group of under-the-radar contestants will try to make up in aerial artistry what they lack in star power at the 2015 NBA Sprite Slam Dunk Contest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic and Mason Plumlee of the Brooklyn Nets will compete in the contest in New York during NBA All-Star Weekend, the league announced Tuesday.

The field lacks some of the recognizable names of last year’s group, which included Indiana Pacers star Paul George, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Washington Wizards guard John Wall, who was voted champion by fan text messages. Still, there is plenty of spring in this crop’s step, as you can watch for yourself below.
