Nate Solder is broadening his horizons.
Solder, a 320-pound offensive lineman, caught a touchdown pass from Tom Brady in the third quarter of the New England Patriots’ AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts at Gillette Stadium. The unexpected grab — a result of some trickery by the Pats — sparked an awesome change to big No. 77’s Wikipedia page.
Someone updated Solder’s page to reflect his evolving skills. Solder, as of the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s contest, was listed as an “elite tight end,” in addition to his usual status as an “American football offensive lineman.”
Solder’s 16-yard TD grab was the first of his NFL career, though the 26-year-old was recruited as a tight end by the University of Colorado.
