1420401510_louisThe rematch between New York middleweights Uriah Hall and Costa Philippou will have to wait, as Philippou was forced to withdraw from the January 18 bout in Boston due to injury.

Stepping up to face “Prime Time” at TD Garden will be Octagon newcomer Louis Taylor, a Chicago native and Strikeforce veteran who has won four straight. Included in Taylor’s recent run are finishes of UFC veterans Joe Vedepo and Brian Houston.

Hall, who was looking to avenge a 2011 loss to Philippou, has won two in a row, stopping Chris Leben and decisioning Thiago Santos.
