Aaron Rodgers is arguably the best football player in the universe. To Olivia Munn, he was just some really good-looking dude.
In case you’re not up on the latest gossip, the Green Bay Packers quarterback and HBO’s “The Newsroom” actress have been dating for almost a year. You’d be hard-pressed to find many people who don’t recognize Rodgers, either for his exploits on the playing field or for his appearance in basically every State Farm commercial.
As Munn revealed during a recent appearance on “Conan,” she was one of those people when the two first met.
“I said, ‘So what do you do?’ And he said, ‘Oh I play football.’” Munn told host Conan O’Brien. “‘Cool. What college?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, no. I play professional.’ And I was like, ‘Cool, what position?’ ‘Quarterback.’ ‘Cool.’ Like that was kind of it not knowing that he’s like Super Bowl MVP or any of those things.
“All I saw was that he was, like, really attractive. I didn’t really care what he did. I was like, you are such a big man!”
So Aaron Rodgers can win over the ladies without even mentioning football? Tom Brady just got put on notice.
