The New England Patriots are heading to Super Bowl XLIX in style.

The team will depart for Glendale, Ariz., on Monday to begin a week of preparation leading up to its Feb. 1 showdown with the Seattle Seahawks. Before their flight takes off, however, the Patriots will stop in Boston to thank the fans who helped get them there.

Boston mayor Marty Walsh will host a send-off rally for the Patriots at City Hall Plaza at 11 a.m. Monday. The event is free and open to the public, and will include performances by the Patriots cheerleaders and the Patriots Drum Line, as well as appearances by Pat the Patriot and the team’s End Zone Militia.

But the highlight of the rally will be the presence of team owner Robert Kraft, president Jonathan Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and the four other Patriots captains, all of whom who will address the fans in attendance before heading to Logan International Airport for their 12:30 p.m. flight.

“I am thrilled to host our conference champion New England Patriots at City Hall to rally before we send them off to another Super Bowl,” Mayor Walsh said in a statement. “This is an exciting time for Boston, and I remind all fans to celebrate responsibly and make our city proud.”

So before you bunker down for the massive snow storm that’s about to hit New England, head down to City Hall and give the Patriots a proper Boston sendoff.
