Report: Peyton Manning Still Undecided About Future With Broncos

The latest news on Peyton Manning is that, well, there is no news.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that the Denver Broncos quarterback still is deciding whether he’s going to return for the 2015 season.

While Mike Klis of The Denver Post wrote he feels Manning will play at least another season — maybe even two — Rapoport said Manning is still wrestling with that decision.

That decision could be forthcoming. Manning has a physical scheduled for next month and passing that physical would lock in Manning at a $19 million salary for next season.

If the Broncos aren’t nearing a crossroads, they’re certainly getting there. The team and head coach John Fox parted ways, and Gary Kubiak is the reported front-runner to replace him. Offensive coordinator Adam Gase likely is out the door, too, as he’s been interviewing around the league with other teams for the same position.

How all of that affects Manning at this point is still unclear.
