The South Shore Kings have earned themselves a date with Canton in the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 semifinals.

Thanks to some strong goaltending from Andy Hassey and timely scoring from Brady Berard, the Kings skated to a 2-1 win over Lexington-Bedford in the quarterfinals of the boys’ squirts bracket (10 and under).

L-B’s Liam Hunt scored an impressive backhand goal while falling to the ice in the second round, but Hassey denied his other two attempts. On the other end, Berard outdueled L-B goalie Cooper Steinborn to help his team get the victory.
