The showdown in the desert is set. The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks have survived their respective conference’s gauntlets and now will meet in Super Bowl XLIX.

What’s at stake: The Seahawks are trying to become the first team to repeat as Super Bowl champions since the Patriots did it in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. Meanwhile, New England quarterback Tom Brady is looking to win his fourth Super Bowl ring and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick his sixth ring (four in New England, two as an assistant with the New York Giants).
