The weeks have turned into days. The days will soon turn into hours. Super Bowl XLIX is almost here.

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will battle Sunday for the NFL’s ultimate prize. There’s no shortage of storylines, especially with the ongoing DeflateGate controversy hanging over the Pats’ heads.

The Patriots defeated the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts en route to clinching a Super Bowl berth. The Seahawks took down the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers to punch their ticket to the big game. Two of the league’s pre-season favorites now will square off at University of Phoenix Stadium with championship glory at stake.

How will the Patriots’ defense stop running back Marshawn Lynch? What do the Pats need to do to score against the Seahawks’ vaunted D? Will DeflateGate impact the Patriots, either negatively or positively?

NESN.com Patriots beat writer Doug Kyed and MassLive.com Patriots beat writer Kevin Duffy joined NESN.com’s Ricky Doyle on Wednesday to discuss all things related to Super Bowl XLIX. Check out the conversation below.
