Tom Brady will be looking to catch up to Joe Montana on Sunday when he goes against the Seattle Seahawks for his fourth Super Bowl ring, but it won’t be the first time the New England Patriots quarterback tried to be like Joe Cool.
Brady added to his history of amazing Facebook posts with a “Throwback Thursday” photo of himself dressed as the San Francisco 49ers quarterback for Halloween. Brady, a San Mateo, Calif., native, grew up idolizing Montana.
Brady has done a pretty good job of living up to Montana’s legacy, eclipsing him on plenty of career and postseason leader boards. He most recently beat Montana’s postseason touchdown record during the Patriots’ AFC divisional-round game against the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 10.
