If your friends want proof that you attended a Premier League game in North London, but you didn’t bother bringing them with you, stay away from White Hart Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur has banned selfie sticks from White Hart Lane, the BBC reported Wednesday. The elongated sticks which attach to users’ phones for better selfie angles no longer are welcome after one fan’s complaints prompted Tottenham to ban them from its stadium.

Stewards will confiscate fans who use selfie sticks at White Hart Lane. The ban started on New Year’s Day when Tottenham stormed to a 5-3 win over league-leading Chelsea.
Fans will return to White Hart Lane next Wednesday when Burnley visits in a FA Cup third round replay.
Tottenham hopes to move into a new stadium in a few years’ time (by 2018). Hopefully selfie sticks will be a thing of the past by then.
Those fans looking to treasure the memory of their Tottenham visit photographically had better bring a friend or make new ones at the stadium.
