The Boston Bruins scored five goals Thursday night, and that’s pretty impressive. But the story of the night was Tuukka Rask.
The Bruins goaltender was outstanding in his team’s 5-2 win over the New York Islanders, making a season-high 43 saves to keep Boston on top. None were more impressive than his second-period robbery of New York’s Michael Grabner, in which he reached back with his stick to deny the goal and make one of the best saves of the year.
Rask’s heroic effort helped the Bruins maintain their 2-0 lead at the time. Check out the amazing save in the video above.
