Wally, Colts Mascot Blue Make Twitter Bet Before AFC Championship Game

Wally the Green Monster always is prepared to answer the bell.

The Indianapolis Colts’ mascot, Blue, called out Wally via Twitter on Monday. He asked the Boston Red Sox mascot if he wanted to make a small wager for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game between the Colts and New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium. Wally obviously accepted.

Perhaps Blue should have directed his inquiry to Pat Patriot, seeing as how he represents the Patriots organization. But Wally clearly has no problem standing up in support of his New England mascot brethren.

Let the best team — and mascot — win.
