Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid and Chicago Blackhawks forward Daniel Carcillo dropped the gloves for a second-period fight in Sunday afternoon’s game at the United Center.

After circling the ice for a bit, both players engaged and attempted a flurry of punches. McQuaid started to take over as the fight drew to its conclusion, which prevented the Blackhawks from gaining any momentum from the bout.

It was McQuaid’s fourth fight of the campaign and first since Jan. 15. Carcillo now has five fights on the season.
