Patrice Bergeron has been the Boston Bruins’ best forward this season, and he reached an impressive milestone Sunday afternoon against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He scored the 200th goal of his NHL career to give the Bruins an early 1-0 first-period lead. It also was Bergeron’s 17th goal of the season, tying him with linemate Brad Marchand for the team lead. The veteran center also leads Boston in scoring with 40 points.
