The Boston Bruins will look to bounce back from Sunday?s 3-1 loss to the rival Montreal Canadiens when they take on Tyler Seguin and the struggling Dallas Stars on Tuesday as -165 moneyline favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Bruins sit in the final playoff spot in the NHL?s Eastern Conference but continue to struggle with consistency, going 4-4 in their last eight outings and posting back-to-back victories just once since a five-game winning streak in early January.

It has been a disappointing campaign for Dallas, who enters Tuesday night?s Stars vs. Bruins betting matchup at TD Garden with just one win in their last four games and a dismal 6-11 record over their last 17 games.

Monday night?s game is the second and final meeting of the year between the two clubs, following the Bruins? 3-1 win in Dallas last month in which they rewarded bettors as -120 moneyline favorites at the sportsbooks.

Following their tilt with Dallas, the Bruins begin a critical stretch in which they play six of their next seven on the road, starting with a stop in Vancouver on Friday night.

In NBA action, the Boston Celtics play host to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night before entering this weekend?s All-Star Break.

The Celtics had a three-game straight-up win streak halted on the weekend, dropping a 96-93 decision to the Milwaukee Bucks, but posting their fourth straight against-the-spread win by covering as 6.5-point underdogs on the NBA betting lines. They face a Hawks squad that has lost two of their last three on the road after posting 19 SU wins.

The Celtics have been a particularly strong bet of late, going 10-2 ATS in their last 12 while claiming a respectable six SU wins during the stretch. However, Boston remains outside the NBA playoff picture, sitting 2.5 games back of the Miami Heat for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

In college hoops, the Boston College Eagles will look to end a four-game SU losing streak in conference play and climb out of the basement in the ACC standings when they face the Syracuse Orange on Wednesday night.

While Boston College has struggled to put numbers in the win column they have enjoyed some recent success as betting underdogs, going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games. However, the Eagles have produced mixed results in recent meetings with the Orange, going 2-4 SU and 4-2 ATS in their last six according to the OddsShark College Basketball Database.
