Cris Carter: Jerry Rice Isn’t Speaking For Me; I Never Used Stickum

Cris Carter wants you to know where he stands with regard to “StickumGate.”

Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice recently admitted that he used Stickum during his illustrious NFL career. Carter took note of Rice’s admission and cleared the air via Twitter in case there was any suspicion that he also used the illegal substance during his own playing days.

Stickum or no Stickum, Rice and Carter are considered two of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history. But if both players’ claims are accurate, they clearly weren’t on the same page when it came to bending the rules.
