Malcolm Butler became a household name after Super Bowl XLIX, but not every household got the memo.

The New England Patriots cornerback reached hero status after he intercepted Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson at the Patriots’ 1-yard line on Sunday night to seal New England’s 28-24 win. The undrafted rookie was on the receiving end of countless congratulations for making the play of the game, but some of those nice messages went to the wrong Butler.

Plenty of people on Twitter confused the Pats cornerback with Indianapolis Colts cornerback Darius Butler, but instead of ignoring the well-wishers or correcting the fans, he just went with it and it made for some hilarious responses.
