Cris Justino wasted little time taking care of business Friday night.

“Cyborg” dispatched Charmaine Tweet via TKO just 46 seconds into the first round at Invicta FC 11 from Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles to defend her 145-pound title.

Justino landed a vicious left hook early on that knocked Tweet to the ground. Tweet tried to stand up after sustaining several heavy punches, but Justino knocked her down again, and referee Herb Dean called the fight.

It was another step in the right direction for Justino, who hopes to fight in UFC in the near future and challenge the formidable Ronda Rousey.

“I’m so happy to come back as the champion,” Justino said after the bout, via ESPN.com. “I will be in the UFC soon.”
