INDIANAPOLIS — There were so many reportsĀ floating around during DeflateGate that it’s completely understandable if one or two becameĀ lost in the shuffle.

In case you missed it, one theory “inside the walls of Gillette Stadium” was that the Baltimore Ravens tipped off the Indianapolis Colts that the New England Patriots were using deflated footballs. That supposedly led the Colts to turn the Patriots into the NFL.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh adamantly denied those reports Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine.

“I don’t know who believed what or why,” Harbaugh said. “You’d have to ask them why they would believe something like that or whoever put that out there, why they’d put that out there. There’s not one shred of any kind of fact that would in any way lead to any reason to believe that’s true. That’s been a long time since that report was put out, so there was nothing there. Didn’t happen. I don’t know why it hasn’t been recanted to be honest with you. I really don’t care about it. It means nothing to us. It’s a non-issue for us.”

Harbaugh said he hasn’t been interviewed in the league’s investigation into DeflateGate.
