“We’re going to Disneyland!”

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman and cornerback Malcolm Butler were the lucky ones to utter that phrase after their team’s Super Bowl XLIX win over the Seattle Seahawks. On Monday, their dreams came true at the happiest place on earth.

Edelman’s game-winning touchdown and Butler’s game-ending interception earned them a spot in the theme park’s Main Street parade.

But the Super Bowl heroes weren’t just there to smile, wave and sign autographs. Edelman and Butler got to have a little fun while their team returned to snowy New England, going on rides and spending the day in sunny California.

Butler, who mentioned that it was his first time at Disneyland, couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

Here’s to hoping Edelman and Butler got their picture taken on Space Mountain.
