It was Julian Edelman’s world Wednesday, and we all were just living in it.

The New England Patriots wide receiver easily was the winner at his team’s victory parade in Boston. He jumped on top of a duck boat, took his shirt off, trolled Richard Sherman and had a generally awesome time.

But he saved his best move for last.

Take that, Trent Dilfer.

In case you forgot, Edelman and the ESPN analyst have a bit of a history. Dilfer infamously proclaimed after New England’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs that the Patriots “just aren’t that good anymore,” and in the aftermath of Super Bowl XLIX, Edelman called Dilfer’s criticism “embarrassing.”

For the record, Dilfer later admitted that he wrote the Patriots off too early. After Wednesday, though, it’s safe to say Dilfer’s original take has been thoroughly ripped to pieces.
