Malcolm Butler

People probably wouldn’t have recognized Malcolm Butler’s name not too long ago. So it shouldn’t be too surprising that people don’t recognize his face either.

NFL Network recently sent the New England Patriots cornerback to the street in Culver City, Calif., to interview fans about his game-clinching interception in Super Bowl XLIX, and none of them had any idea they were talking to Butler himself.

Most of the NFL fans had high praise for Butler, but one man probably regrets calling the Patriots “the (New York) Yankees of football” to the cornerback’s face. Still, Butler had some fun, asking the fans what they’d say to Butler if they had a chance to talk to him and showing them a photo of him in his uniform.
