The debate over who is the better quarterback lives on. As for who’s faster? It’s safe to say that got settled Saturday.

Oregon’s Marcus Mariota and Florida State’s Jameis Winston headlined Day 4 of the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine, as the two are expected to be among the first players off the board in the NFL draft.

Both Mariota and Winston performed capably in throwing drills, but when they toed the line for the 40-yard dash, the Duck left the Seminole in the dust.

In case this video of the two sprints superimposed on each other didn’t clear it up for you, Mariota is a heck of a lot faster than Winston. In fact, the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner topped all QBs at the combined with a blistering time of 4.52 seconds, while Winston chugged to a 4.97, a time slower than some lineman prospects.

Combine Winston’s lethargic 40 with a Friday report claiming he has “weakness” in his throwing shoulder, and some might say it’s not looking good for the 2013 Heisman winner. Yet Winston exuded his usual confidence during drills Saturday, and many still have him pegged as the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

Just don’t expect him to outrun linebackers any time soon.
