Blake Swihart is all about uncovering the good stuff.
Swihart recently interviewed fellow Boston Red Sox prospects as part of an MLB.com “Conversations with Rookies” segment. The young catcher exposed several interesting facts about his teammates during the playful episode, including Mookie Betts’ awesome bat inscription.
Betts finds the inscription — “Ya Betts Believe” — to be lame, but it didn’t stop Swihart from pressing him on the issue. Swihart also asked pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez about his Triple-A stint — prompting a funny response from the left-hander — and infielder Sean Coyle about his workout habits.
