New Buffalo Bills Coach Rex Ryan Changes Infamous Tattoo’s Colors (Video)

Rex Ryan learned a thing or two about permanent ink this offseason.

The new Buffalo Bills head coach has a rather infamous tattoo of his wife on his arm, but there’s just one problem: She’s wearing nothing but a New York Jets jersey.

The tattoo first was spotted before the 2013 season, four years into his tenure as Jets coach. At the time, Ryan was well-loved by fans and management.

But now that he’s with the Bills after being fired by the Jets, Ryan hit up a tattoo parlor in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Thursday to get the colors on his tattoo fixed while he was in the state for the Super Bowl, per The Wall Street Journal.

The fix cost Ryan $80, the shop’s minimum, but he was just glad the tattoo didn’t need more than just new colors.

“The girl’s not changing,” Ryan told WSJ. “I’ve been married 28 years.”

Ryan can only hope that his stay in Buffalo is as lasting as his marriage.
