The city of Boston isn’t yet back to full working order, but the show will go on Tuesday night at TD Garden.
The National Hockey League announced Tuesday the game between the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars will go on as scheduled. Boston has been hammered with snow in recent weeks, and a Monday storm dumped roughly 2 feet on the city.
That snowstorm — one of several large storms in recent weeks — has partially crippled the city. The MBTA announced Monday night it would not run any rail service Tuesday. The Garden also houses North Station, one of the biggest T stops, and many fans rely on the T for transportation to games.
There’s also still a parking ban in effect for the city, which means finding parking near the Garden will be even more difficult than usual.
Rescheduling the game would have been tough. The Bruins and Stars play in different conferences, which would have made finding a make-up date that satisfied everyone involved near impossible.
