For the first time in seemingly a long time, snow wasn’t flying in Boston on Wednesday. Instead, confetti filled the air.

That’s because the New England Patriots and their fans had an unforgettable party Wednesday.

The Super Bowl champions took to the streets of Boston to celebrate their victory over the Seattle Seahawks, and they were met with all the praise and adulation a team that’s won four world titles since 2002 comes to expect.

Thousands of fans braved the cold and messy traffic to catch a glimpse of the champs. Lined up rows deep, Patriots fans cheered as players, coaches and management rolled by on Duck Boats.

The parade not only allowed fans to show their admiration, but it also gave the players a chance to party with the fans — and boy did they party. A fired-up Julian Edelman led the charge, and tight Rob Gronkowski was all over the streets, refusing to turn down any beers tossed his way.
