Usually by the end of the NFL Scouting Combine, there’s a general outline of the NFL draft class.

The 2015 draft remains a crapshoot, however. Either Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota likely will be the No. 1 overall pick, but after that, throw your hands in the air. You might as well pick various first-round graded prospects out of a hat.

The New England Patriots are going into the draft in good shape, however. There are a number of players who perfectly fit the Patriots’ needs and criteria, and at least one of them should fall down to the No. 32 overall pick, or at least far enough that the Patriots would be able to trade up.
