If you didn’t know the name Malcolm Butler before Super Bowl Sunday, you certainly know it now.

The New England Patriots cornerback became a household name Sunday night, thanks in large part to one of the most questionable play calls in NFL history.

Butler’s instincts took over, and he stepped in front of a Russell Wilson pass for an interception to seal the Patriots’ fourth Super Bowl win. It was a play that will go down in history in Patriots lore, and well, it likely means Butler will never have to pay for a drink in New England again.

Jimmy Fallon and “The Tonight Show” writing staff played off that in a Super Bowl version of their superlatives segment. Oh, and good luck ever looking at Danny Amendola the same again.
