Tom Brady broke another Super Bowl record Sunday night.

The New England Patriots’ fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Danny Amendola was his 12th in a Super Bowl, breaking the previous record of 11 set by San Francisco 49ers legend Joe Montana, whom Brady idolized growing up. The TD pass cut the Patriots’ deficit against the Seattle Seahawks to 24-21.

Brady later set the Super Bowl record for the most completions in a single game, as the Patriots claimed their fourth championship. Brady was voted the game’s MVP.
