BOSTON — Bruins defenseman Torey Krug and New York Islanders forward Ryan Strome aren’t two players you’d expect to see dropping their gloves for a fight, but they squared off early in the first period of Saturday night’s game.
Strome landed some pretty good jabs, but Krug was able to hang in there and make it a lengthy bout.
It was Krug’s second fight of the season — his previous one was Nov. 22 against Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk. It was Strome’s first fight of the 2014-15 season.
