Boston College guard Olivier Hanlan was one of five players voted to the All-ACC first team, the conference announced Sunday.
Hanlan, a junior out of Aylmer, Quebec, becomes the first BC player to earn first-team all-conference honors since current Detroit Pistons point guard Reggie Jackson did so in 2011. Hanlan led the ACC in scoring during the regular season with 19.4 points per game and scored in double figures in all but one of the Eagles’ 30 contests.
Joining Hanlan on the first team were Notre Dame’s Jerian Grant, Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon, Syracuse’s Rakeem Christmas and Duke’s Jahlil Okafor, who also was voted ACC Player of the Year.
BC, which finished the regular season 12-18 overall and 4-14 in conference play, will take on Georgia Tech in the first round of the ACC tournament Tuesday.
