Bruins Must Work On Playing 60 Minutes Of Solid Hockey For Playoff Run (Video)

The Boston Bruins have been on a roll of late, winning seven of their last nine games entering Saturday’s contest against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

But not all of them have been pretty.

The Bruins have struggled to play a full 60 minutes of solid hockey this season yet have managed to pull out some ugly wins. However, it won’t be that easy in the playoffs.

Boston has a five-point lead over the Ottawa Senators for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, and if they hang on to that, they’re going to have to work on putting in a full effort in every game. They’ve been able to get away with it in the regular season, but they’ll need to be at the top of their game to take on the best of the NHL.

Hear more on the Bruins’ effort from Dale Arnold and Barry Pederson in the video above.
