Hanley Ramirez showed some pop Sunday.

Ramirez launched a three-run homer to center field in the third inning of the Boston Red Sox’s spring training game against the Philadelphia Phillies at JetBlue Park. It was Ramirez’s first home run of the spring, which also means it was his first long ball since returning to the Red Sox over the offseason.

Ramirez, who signed a four-year, $88 million contract in November, is expected to play a major role in Boston’s revamped offense. Sunday provided a taste of the unit’s potential when Ramirez is swinging a hot bat.
