When it comes to knocking down shots, John Wall’s form is as good as it gets. Knocking down pins? That’s a different story.
The Washington Wizards guard and his teammates used an off-day Wednesday to take a field trip to Harry S. Truman Bowling Alley inside the White House. Pretty cool, right? Well, not as cool as Wall’s unique bowling style.
OK, maybe “strange” is the better word. As you probably noticed, that’s not how most people bowl.

Then again, Wall’s backhand flick helped him pick up the spare, and teammate Paul Pierce seemed to enjoy it, so who are we to judge?
Wall had better hope his success in the lanes translates onto the court, though, as the Wizards have dropped eight of their last 11 games to drop to fifth in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.
